Ringling College of Art & Design Bayou Village Renovation
The project consisted of renovation of the existing 17,500 SF, three-story dormitories known as the Bayou Village. WASC built the multi-family buildings in 1997. Work included reroofing, replacement of doors, windows, interior finishes and fixtures, and updates to the fire alarm system. The scope included framing/drywall/doors/hardware/glass and glazing.
Updated finishes included architectural millwork, casework and finish carpentry with cabinets and countertops in the kitchens and bathrooms.
The HVAC/pluming/electrical and fire suppression systems are also being updated.
The reroofing includes a Boral Saxony 900 slate flat concrete tile roofing system.
