Doctor's Hospital - DaVinici Surgical System Operating Room Upgrade
This Project consisted of the re-purposing and updating of an existing 2,400 SF operating room to accommodate the DaVinci Surgical System. The scope included the updating of the support areas for the OR including PACU, sterile equipment, clean storage, clean and soiled utility. Numerous departments within the existing hospital were relocated to accommodate the new area including Physical Therapy, Biomed, and offices. Work also included installing new electrical services to the existing OR, life safety systems, nurse call, and numerous aesthetic upgrades throughout the facility. The relocation of various departments encompassed the first and third floors with windows were added to the doctors’ lounge for “day-lighting”. The project was completed in seven weeks.
