Manatee County Transit Fleet Facility
The Manatee County Area Transit (MCAT) is building is a 116,000 square-foot transit facility that replaced the outdated and undersized transit administration building and related facilities. The new facility houses administrative offices, a fleet bay area, a bus fueling station and a bus wash, and includes a 200-space parking area. 23 administrative employees and 72 transit drivers worked out of the original 5,900 square-foot facility that was built in 1961.
