Sarasota County - Solid Waste Disposal Complex
Construction of this new Sarasota County Solid Waste Disposal Complex included a 5,255 SF Administration Building, Truck Scale House and Control Booth with three computerized scales and a kiosk. There is also a 4,480 SF Maintenance Facility and a covered Fuel Storage Building for gas and diesel fuel. This project involved extensive site work, asphalt paving and underground utilities in a protected wetlands area. This necessitated intense environmental engineering scrutiny.
