SBSC-Sarasota High School - Building 13
This two-story 14,432 SF building houses the orchestra ensemble room, two practice rooms, band room, orchestra room and four new classrooms on the second floor. Most of these rooms have sound control devices to prevent sound vibrations between rooms. Construction consists of masonry walls, PSI concrete floor system and steel roof joist. The site work includes the construction of a new bus loop for band players to load their instruments for away games. The new building is located on the existing east campus. Construction deliveries and activities were coordinated so as not to disrupt student activity.
