St. Joseph’s Hospital – OBI Upgrade
The team worked very closely with the hospital as well as the project manager from Varian Medical Systems, to properly install the new Linear Accelerator On-Board Imager (OBI). The existing HVAC system capacity was expanded due to the additional heat-load created by the OBI. Additional electrical capacity was also required to ensure compliance with the new upgrade.
